The D pin on my G adapter does not extend into the inner circle of the adapter as much as the picture in the instructions. In fact the D pin on my adapter can be see past the outer lip of the adapter. I have the G adapter that does not have the B pin or lever. I am unable to attach it to my Canon 5d2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Storm100

This stop screw needs to be wound in flush before the adaptor will mount: if it protrudes even fractionally beyond the flange, it will foul on the EF mount. The actuating pin does vary slightly from adaptor to adaptor, but all versions function identically.
